Die bash in Farbe – Farbe ins Linux-Terminal bringen

Das Navigieren und Administrieren von Linux-Systemen im Terminal und remote per SSH kann mit unter etwas unübersichtlich sein.

Darum zeige ich euch einmal wie man sich etwas mehr Überberblick mit der Hilfe von Farbe schafft:

 

Damit man ein nettes Distributions-Logo mit einigen Meta-Daten beim einloggen bzw. beim öffnen des Terminals bekommt benötigt man ein Programm namens screenfetch.
sudo apt-get install screenfetch
Anschließend bearbeitet man die Datei .bashrc welche in jedem home-Verzeichnis eines benutzers ist(auch root).
Innerhalb der Datei befindet sich ein bereich force_color_promt den man beatbeiten kann

bei mir sieht es so aus. Ich/ benutze das als Farbschema für root:

und das für einen User:

und am ende der .bashrc eines Users setze ich noch den Befehl screenfetch.

Wichtig:

per default ist force_color_prompt=yes mit einer Raute auskommentiert, die müsst Ihr also entfernen.

das Endergebnis sieht dann so aus:

* funktioniert auf allen Debian-Derivate und unter Manjaro(wobei die Syntax etwas anders ist)
